Learning correct body posture
A big advantage of touch typing is that you are not constantly hunched over, looking for the right keys. In the introduction to our typing course, we therefore also start by teaching correct body posture.
Apart from teaching a correct body posture, we also teach a child to type with all ten fingers. This reduces the risk of RSI complaints.
Ready for the digital world
In these modern times, it is impossible to imagine our daily lives without a keyboard. Almost everything is digital these days. The same goes for school. When a child has learned to touch type at an early age, he or she is better prepared for the digital world.
Working with programmes such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be a lot smoother compared to children who have not learned to touch type.
